PRIVATE BARREL RELEASE PARTY

Wednesday April 8th

On April 8th, join us for an exclusive evening celebrating the arrival of our newest private selection--and its official welcome into the Penny's family.

Our team traveled to FOUR ROSES Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, to hand select MUFUKA #9, a remarkable single barrel bourbon aged 9 years, 8 months, bottled at barrel strength (62.1%) and this event will mark its official release. Our Private Barrels are a representation of our beverage team and ownership group, curated to offer one of the most distinctive premium spirits collections in Leawood.

The evening begins with a cocktail-and-appetizer mingle experience from 7:30 - ( PM, featuring guided tasting stations dedicated to two of our hand selected Penny's Private Barrel Spirits, Four Roses and Old Forester Bourbon, and four unique barrels for taste comparison. The bourbons will be presented by: neat tasting, a hand-crafted cocktail, small-bite appetizer, pairing and an educational component led by our beverage team.

Than join us as the experience continues on the patio with discounts on our Private Barrel Picks, creating a relaxed, elevated close to the evening.

Sommelier Sunday at Aqua Penny's is our way to  gather to explore a focused selection  of wines from a single region, tasting through thoughtfully chosen bottles while discussing the vineyards, producers, and traditions that define them.

Each session is paired with a curated selection of snacks designed to complement the  wines and highlight their character, creating an experience that is both educational and deeply enjoyable. It's a relaxed but thoughtful evening that reflects the heart of great hospitality, great bottles, great conversation, and the opportunity to discover something new together.
